On arrival at night, you may need to get their attention; the front desk is not manned at all times. The small exercise room has a treadmill, some free weights, a bench, and a tv; I would rate it as marginal. No hotel pool, but on the upside, the lake is very close. Closest shopping is 8 miles away, it's a resort location, but good restaurants within 10 miles and when they open the restaurant, I will update this review. Lake and golf are adjacent and convenient. I liked the site, and in town, it's one of the best available.

ROOMS: Room is very clean and well appointed, bed is very comfortable, furnishings are new and they went out of their way to help with getting me a bench for the shower. WiFi is a tad slow but it's free and there are computers with printers in the lobby.

The hotel itself was average, but since everything was brand new and in such a picturesque setting it felt much nicer. The friendly staff are what really makes the place stand out. They are very service oriented and even asked us what we preferred for breakfast. Rooms have mini-fridge, microwave, and large flat screen TV. I would highly recommend.

40 rooms on two floors, no elevator but they accommodated my disability with no problem. In room coffee, small fridge and microwave, they offer a fair variety of reheatable food to purchase. Breakfast is provided, mostly microwaved eggs and bacon and DIY waffles, filling but could be improved. On weekend, they did not offer eggs, just biscuits and gravy, which I found odd, but probably was a staffing issue. During the week, we were one of only a few who were staying, but it filled up on the weekend. Excellent parking, with boat ramp and room for RV close. Access is not well lit, and the turnoff is a bit iffy on a dark night; be careful of approaching traffic.

Beautiful lake Mozingo. Great golf club with welcoming staff. Nice beaches, hiking trail. Needs more bike trails

Very nice hotel. It was very clean, the staff was incredibly nice, and overall it was a great experience. The workout room was very small however, but that was the only issue I found. Great stop if you are wanting to play golf right there.

IMPRESSIONS: Have stayed twice, and will stay again. Very agreeable staff, accommodating and helpful. The facility is still being completed, the restaurant/meeting facility is not yet complete and workers are busy; should be finished by January 2018.

CLIENTELE: Seems to have a lot of fishermen and boaters in season, and people visiting the local college. Not many businessmen apparently, but more resort visitors and out-of-town guests. As such, the lack of a pool or hot tub is notable. Looking forward to another nice visit and will definately stay again, because the staff are so agreeable.

Everything is new as the hotel just recently opened. Everything was very nice. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. There weren't a lot of hot breakfast options, but there were plenty of other breakfast choices to make up for it.
